Services

Your monthly close, run by a CPA rather than a bookkeeper. The general ledger kept current, the balance sheet reconciled line by line, and statements delivered on a fixed calendar date so you are never guessing at your position mid-quarter.

  • Monthly close and full balance-sheet reconciliation
  • Revenue and cost coding matched to how your business earns
  • Job costing, project, or departmental reporting where you need it
  • Financial statements issued by the 15th
  • Payables review, billing support, and year-end workpapers for your tax preparer

A standing seat at your leadership table for the financial side of the firm. We work from your own numbers: what a job or engagement actually earned, what a hire actually costs, whether the pipeline supports the payroll you are about to sign.

  • Monthly review of results with the owners
  • Margin, pricing, and overhead analysis
  • 13-week cash forecast and distribution planning
  • Hiring and capacity modeling
  • Close-process and internal-control improvement

The Practice

Fifteen firms served properly, rather than a hundred served thinly.

I am a Texas-registered Certified Public Accountant. I began in public accounting at a national firm, then spent several years managing financial reporting and controls at a large private company — where I owned the period-end close, prepared consolidated financial statements, and coordinated the annual audit.

That work — closing real books on a real deadline, then explaining the result to the people responsible for the outcome — is the whole of what this practice does for owner-led businesses and small professional firms. Uneven revenue, long sales-to-payment cycles, and partner or owner compensation are the ordinary conditions here, not exceptions.

The practice is deliberately narrow: accounting and fractional advisory only. Your tax preparer and your auditor remain independent of me, and I work alongside them.
